Spira Odyssey Running Shoe - Road tested!

After I received my Spira shoes 2 1/2 weeks ago, its time to write a feedback.
The Odyssey running shoe is very comfortable, once I put them on, they fit like a glove.
No " Break in " time needed!!!
Time for another test run :
I decided to go for a 3 miler around the block.
The Odyssey is a cushion trainer and is perfect for runs on firm surface .
Sure enough, during my run I felt the running shoe provided excellent forefoot and heel cushion with max. impact absorption.
I felt a difference in my energy level, running seemed to be easier.
I felt quick and springy!!!
Test result : A+
Next test (Half marathon, Pavement):
The Odyssey has the Tri spring technology, 2 in the forefoot and 1 in the heel.
They are very responsive for running with an energy recovery system.
During my Half marathon , I once again , felt running was easier and I was able to hold my pace throughout the entire race.
My legs never felt tired and I " blame " it on the Wave spring technology.
I had  GREAT race.
Test result : A+
Iam now in my taper phase for my 100 miler on Nov 13th (on pavement)
Long runs are done, left are some short and faster runs.
My plan for the 100 miler is to start with the Odyssey shoe, I know I will benefit from the lightweight and cushioned footwear.
My experience so far with the Spira shoe is very positive and I think any Runner will find some benefits from the many features the Odyssey has to offer.
All my test runs were great and I trust the shoe and recommend it to anybody who is out there , trying to find the right shoe.
The Spira running shoe "line" has a lot to offer , the Odyssey is for mid- long runs, but they also have Racers.
My review so far:
- Great shoe , fits like a glove
- Great Cushion in forefoot and heel
- Great shoe laces ( they dont untie during a run)
- Running feels quick and springy
- Lightweight
- Even during an easy run , my times were faster without more afford
The Odyssey seems to work really well for me and I cant wait to test them at the 100 mile race.
I maybe would liked a bit more colors for this shoe , like the Racers (bright red and yellow) , so other runners would see them from far away and wondering.."what shoe is that??"
And you might want to order 1/2 size bigger.
Ok...Iam ready for the 100 miler...my shoe is ready too!!! wohooooo
